Should Christian Kiss During Boyfriend & Girlfriend Stage?

The act of kissing is not a sin. We even kiss our parents, siblings, or elders as a physical expression of love.

However, may kailangan tayong guidelines when it comes to the opposite sex during bf/gf stage.

Since God looks into our heart, what springs from it decides if kissing is a sin or not.

Here are the guidelines:

#1 Check your Intention 

Ask yourself what is the reason why you kiss? Is it a pure expression of love? curiosity? or LUST?

Matthew 5:28: “...but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

#2 Check if your being tempted 

Kung every time you do it, at the back of your mind, there's something more na naiimagine mo.. better stop doing it.

Eventually, baka ma-fall ka na into sin by doing more than just kissing. Baka inuunti-unti ka na ni satan at mauwi ito sa premarital sex. 

Remember, lahat ng kasalanan nag uumpisa sa parang "maliit na bagay" lang.

For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts, covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the man.” - Mark 7:21-23

#3 Check if it's appropriate 

Baka mamaya nasisira testimony natin. Sinasabi mong Christian kayo parehas yet P.D.A.(public display of affection) kayo at wala sa lugar. Does this act make me a good example of a Christian?

Kung lusot ka sa guidelines na yan at masasabi mong pure ang intention mo, definitely, kissing is not a sin.

May BEST RESPONSE dito at hindi lahat kaya gawin ito:

As for me, I encourage you to have your first kiss at the altar, during your wedding day. 

Deserve nyo parehas na maging special ang araw na yun, hindi parang "formality" nalang kasi lahat na nagawa nyo na.

Yung time na pag sinabing "You may now kiss your bride", walang dating kasi nasanay na kayo gawin yun, nothing special at all.

Worst case scenario, di naman kayo nagkatuluyan pero nahalikan na kayo ng taong di naman para sa inyo?

You don't deserve it.

If we read the Bible, God's design for relationship is marriage, kahit anong halungkat mo dun, walang jowa-jowa muna.

Habang di pa kayo married, huwag nyo hayaan magkaroon ng entry point si satan para tuksuhin kayo and ruin God's plan for the both of you.

For now, flee from sexual immorality! Mas mabuti na yung hindi kayo nate-tempt.

"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body." - 1 Corinthians 6:18
